The agent of Arsenal target Denis Zakaria has played down the chances of his client leaving Borussia Monchengladbach in January.
As reported by the Metro, Mathieu Beda revealed to Sport Bild that the Swiss midfielder will remain with the Bundesliga side until the summer at least.
Denis will not leave Borussia in the winter, a change is 100 per cent excluded. Denis is in very good shape in Gladbach and has been playing really well for weeks, but he still has more potential and he wants to show that in Gladbach now instead of dealing with a change.
The player is attracting interest from a number of top European clubs after an impressive start to the season with Gladbach.

It was always likely that Gladbach would try and keep hold of Zakaria until the summer.
They currently sit four points clear at the top of the Bundesliga after a stunning start following Marco Rose’s appointment at the club.
It remains to be seen if they can maintain that lead at the top, with RB Leipzig impressing and Bayern Munich resurgent under Hans-Dieter Flick.
Not many would’ve been tipping Gladbach to go all the way, but keeping hold of the likes of Zakaria gives them a great chance to secure Champions League football and increase the Swiss star’s value over the course of the season.
