Arsenal and Tottenham have been tipped to battle it out for Liverpool attacker Xherdan Shaqiri by former Spurs striker Darren Bent.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are flying high at the top of the Premier League after 12 rounds of fixtures, however, Shaqiri has only made two domestic appearances.
The 28-year-old has been linked with a move away from Anfield and Bent, talking exclusively to Football Insider, cited by the Daily Express, said that the Gunners or Spurs would probably take him if offered.
I think Arsenal would probably take him, Manchester City nope, Chelsea nope, Spurs may potentially take him as well.
I think there will be no shortage of takers so he has nothing to fear about that.

Shaqiri would give Unai Emery another option going forward, but Arsenal’s current problems lie in defence.
Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira have both been linked with moves away from the Emirates, which could leave the Gunners short in front of the back four.
Shaqiri’s national teammate, Denis Zakaria, has been tipped to move to north London, and his arrival would be more beneficial.

Arsenal haven’t had someone like Zakaria at the club for a long period of time, and the youngster has shown with Borussia Monchengladbach that he has all the tools to succeed in England.
So, if the Gunners are to make a move for one Swiss international over the next six months, we feel it needs to be Zakaria instead of Bent’s Shaqiri suggestion.
