Arsenal will reportedly use Granit Xhaka in a bid to land Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria in the new year.
Xhaka looks destined to leave the Emirates over the coming months, with Newcastle United, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund all keen on his services.
However, according to the Mirror, cited by @ZR_1G7, the Gunners will look to offload the Swiss star to his former employers as they try to secure the services of Zakaria.
Manchester United and Tottenham, as well as a plethora of sides across Europe, are also interested in the towering 22-year-old after his excellent start to the Bundesliga season.

It’ll be interesting to see whether or not Monchengladbach would be open to the idea of re-signing Xhaka, but if they are, it would be a great piece of business by the Gunners.
Zakaria appears to be the commanding midfield figure Arsenal desperately need, and his potential arrival could be huge for the club.
