Arsenal scouts will reportedly watch Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu in action against Iceland tonight.
The Turkish defender will be lining up for his country against Iceland in a European qualifier.
Turkish outlet Star, as cited on Sport Witness, say that Soyuncu could be a target in the new year if Arsenal look to strengthen defensively.

Soyuncu deserves the recognition after a fantastic start to the season with Leicester.
He has batted away any doubts about how the Foxes would cope without Harry Maguire and if anything, has made Brendan Rodgers’ side stronger.
As you would expect, this has resulted in links to bigger and better teams – Leicester fans may argue that isn’t the case with Arsenal though.

Earlier in the week, it was reported that Arsenal would also be watching Juventus defender Merih Demiral during the game against Iceland, so clearly it’s a position that the club are keen to strengthen.
Soyuncu has always been highly rated as a defender, but Arsenal may struggle to convince him to join both in January or later in the summer, espically if the Foxes finish inside the top four.
If they do qualify for the Champions League, it’ll be at Arsenal’s expense and it’ll be a tough sell for them to try and get him to join the Gunners.
