Arsenal fans have expressed their happiness for Granit Xhaka, with the midfielder seemingly close to a move away from the club.
As cited on social media, Swiss journalist Marcello Pelizzari claims that the player is likely to leave in January.
Borussia Dortmund has emerged as a potential destination, where he could link up once again with Lucien Favre – who he worked with at Borussia Monchengladbach.

It’s a shame to see Xhaka’s Arsenal career end in this away.
If he is to leave the Gunners in the new year, he’ll be leaving with a cloud over his head, wondering what could’ve been.
Often made a scapegoat among the fan base, things simply weren’t working out towards the end.
It would be in the interests of both parties to move on and Xhaka can take some hope from the fact these fans at least appreciate what he has done for the club.
