Arsenal fans delighted as Thierry Henry lands new managerial job

Thierry Henry has been confirmed as the new head coach of MLS side Montreal Impact.

They confirmed the news on Thursday afternoon, with Henry due to link up with his new side after a spell out of the game.

Henry had previously been working with the Belgian national team and AS Monaco, although his spell with the latter didn’t exactly go to plan.

However, these Arsenal fans on social media were more than happy to see their hero back in management.

Henry’s early managerial career has not gone to plan so far, but it’s an avenue that he has always wanted to pursue.

A move into the MLS looks like a good next step for him to get back on track. He knows the set-up well having spent time at New York Red Bulls as a player.

He will no doubt be well-received and Arsenal fans will be watching on with a close interest.
