It was confirmed earlier this week that young MLS midfielder Cole Bassett is due to train with Arsenal.
The Colorado Rapids star will be looking to impress those behind the scenes during his short stay with the Gunners.
While it has not been confirmed as an official trial, there’s every chance he could earn himself a future move if the Arsenal coaching staff are pleased with what they see.
After hearing the news, these Arsenal supporters on social media were excited by what they saw.

Arsenal fans are clearly interested to see what this burgeoning relationship with Colorado Rapids might lead to.
Bassett could be the first of many to make the journey from Colorado to North London.
If the young midfielder does go onto impress, you can imagine Arsenal would be more than willing to extend his trial period and take a serious look at him as a prospect for the future.
It’s a great opportunity for the youngster to make a name for himself after initially impressing in the MLS.
