Arsenal are hoping that they can resolve Granit Xhaka’s future, despite reports linking him with a move to Italy.
One Italian outlet claimed that the player has already started the process of looking for a house to buy in Milan ahead of a potential move.
However, Calciomercato, as cited on TEAMtalk, say that the Gunners want to keep hold of the midfielder.
Despite being linked with a move away, there is hope that the relationship ‘can be repaired’.

This looks like the sensible step for Arsenal to make. Xhaka went through a moment of madness during the game against Crystal Palace, but it’s not something that should define his time in London.
He could still yet have a huge role to play in the team and the age of 27, he should be approaching his prime years.

Reintroducing the player into the first-team is not an overnight fix – it’ll be a long road ahead for both Xhaka and Arsenal.
Of course, there will be unrest from some quarters of the fan base, but if the midfielder can prove his worth on the pitch, then those fans will soon come around and forgive the player.
