France manager Didier Deschamps has called up Matteo Guendouzi to the senior squad to replace the injured Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi.
As reported by Get French Football News, Guendouzi will once again link up with the senior team after earning his first call up earlier in the campaign.
Guendouzi is yet to make his full international debut for France, having been an unused substitute in both games against Albania and Andorra previously.
These Arsenal fans on social media were delighted after hearing the news.

Guendouzi has been one of only a few bright sparks for Arsenal this season and his emergence in midfield has papered over some cracks for supporters.
It’s fair to say that the young midfielder has deserved it too. He has been ever-present for the Gunners, featuring in every Premier League game for the club so far.
Averaging just 0.8 fouls per 90 minutes in the Premier League, WhoScored have given the Frenchman a 7.02 rating so far.
He’ll be hoping he can secure that maiden cap for his country as he looks to continue what has been a fine start to the season personally.
