Arsene Wenger was coy with his answers when quizzed about Unai Emery’s future at the Emirates.
Speaking on beIN SPORTS, Wenger backed Emery to turn things around in North London amid rising pressure from the club’s supporters.
I don’t talk a lot about Arsenal, I just support them. I’m a supporter who wants a team to win, so that’s all. For me it’s very difficult to have any assessment on Arsenal because it will be straight away interpreted when you’ve been at the club for such a long time.
The Arsenal boss now faces a race against time to turn the club’s fortunes around following an uninspiring start to the season.

Despite his heroic status in North London, Wenger is doing the right thing by keeping quiet here.
He’ll be fully aware that the pressure is on Emery and the fact he has been particularly careful in his words shows that he understands the tough situation that is developing at the club.
Although, on one hand, it’s great for supporters to see that he still cares so dearly for the Gunners and wants them to succeed, whoever is in the dugout.
Emery will know what he needs to do turn things around – Wednesday’s performance against Vitoria was limp to say the least.
Saturday’s clash against Leicester City could prove to be decisive for Emery. Three points against an inspired Foxes outfit would get their top-four push right back on track.
