Arsenal fans react as Wenger is named as the favourite for Bayern job

Arsene Wenger is now believed to be the favourite to take over at Bayern Munich.

According to Sport Bild, the former Arsenal man is in pole position after Ralf Rangnick opted against the move.

Bayern are looking to replace Niko Kovac, who they sacked over the weekend and these Arsenal fans on social media would love to see Wenger take the hot seat.

Wenger has previously remained quite coy on whether or not he would take another job in management.

However, it would be great to see him get one last job, espically at one of Europe’s biggest clubs.

He’ll no doubt itching to prove that he can still mix it with some of the best around and in Munich, he’d have the opportunity to do just that.

Even if this was only a short-term deal, you’d have to think it’s a safe move from Bayern that would allow them to reassess the situation later in the season.
