Arsene Wenger could beat Jose Mourinho to the Bayern Munich job, according to reports.
As reported by the Guardian, Bayern are unlikely to appoint Jose Mourinho, despite some tentative links to the Portuguese boss.
However, instead former Arsenal man and a fierce rival of Mourinho, Wenger could be an option.
Ralf Rangnick, Erik ten Hag and Massimo Allegri have also been linked as potential replacements for Niko Kovac.

If Wenger were to take over at Bayern, if only until the end of the season, he would surely take great pride in pipping Mourinho to one of Europe’s most elite jobs.
The pair have endured some great battles over the years and have not always seen eye-to-eye.
After a while out of the game, beating the very man who labelled him a ‘specialist in failure’ would give him great satisfaction.
The report claims that Wenger is highly thought of by those behind the scenes at Bayern Munich – so could it finally be the moment we see him back in the dugout?
