After seeing Caglar Soyuncu impress once agian for Leicester over the weekend, Arsenal fans have bemoaned the club’s decision not to sign him.
Soyuncu was heavily linked with a move to North London before he made the switch to Leicester.
The defender himself revealed his desire to join the Gunners, but it wasn’t to be for the player.
He has since gone on to shine for Leicester this season after the departure of Harry Maguire to Manchester United.

Soyuncu has been one of the stories of the season for Leicester.
His performances have been at the heart of the Foxes’ success. Throughout the summer, there were plenty who questioned Leicester’s decision not to directly replace Harry Maguire, but Soyuncu’s emergence has justified that approach.
Should Soyuncu continue to perform in this vein, just like they did with Maguire, Leicester will surely struggle to hold onto the Turkish defender for much longer.
If Arsenal were to go back in for him, they would undoubtedly be forced to pay much more than what they would’ve had to when he was at Freiburg.
