Liverpool fans troll Lucas Torreira over Anfield tweet

Lucas Torerrira has left Liverpool supporters on social media slightly confused by his tweet following the defeat on Wednesday night.

The midfielder, who was on the scoresheet at Anfield, failed to acknowledge that the Gunners had actually lost the game.

Seemingly unaware, the player took to social media to celebrate his goal – only to be inundated with responses from these Liverpool fans who were quick to remind him of the result.

It looks like Liverpool fans may have had the last laugh this time around.

Hopefully, it was nothing more than Torerrira celebrating a goal at Anfield after the difficult start to the season that he has endured.

He’ll be hoping that he has now done enough to earn some regular minutes in the Premier League.
