It’s great to see Martinelli get the praise from rival supporters as well as the Arsenal fan base.
The Brazilian has enjoyed a fine start to the season and his performance at Anfield is giving him a very strong case to be playing regularly in the Premier League.
His goals, albeit both from close range, were taken very calmly. The Brazilian showed composure beyond his years to step up at the right moments and give Arsenal the lead – unfortunately for him the game ended in defeat.
