Granit Xhaka will continue to watch on from the sidelines this weekend against Wolves.
As reported by Sky Sports News, Unai Emery has confirmed that the Arsenal captain will not feature for the Gunners.
Xhaka has this week released a statement, explaining his actions to the Arsenal supporters but it appears that the meeting with Wolves has come around too quickly for the Swiss midfielder.

This feels like the right move for Emery to make. The Xhaka situation is one that needs time and space for it to be worthwhile.
By leaving him out once again, it looks like the club and Xhaka have accepted that this isn’t just a one-off situation and they need to manage it carefully.
Frustrations on both sides have been brewing for some time now and by taking Xhaka out of the first-team picture for a brief moment – it gives the club time to get back on track in the Premier League.
After seeing the statement released earlier this week, the general consensus among the fan base was that this is a situation that the club can move on from, but by rushing their next step Emery is only risking it happening again further down the line.
