Arsenal will need a bit of luck if they are to progress into the next round of the Carabao Cup.
Matip has been a strong presence at the back for the Reds this season, his performances have made him a contender to be named as the club’s most important player so far in the early stages of the season.
Klopp could now call upon either Dejan Lovren or Joe Gomez to step in once again, the former did so against Tottenham at the weekend and did well in their crucial 2-1 win at Anfield.
Gomez could be an option that Arsenal look to take advantage of. The young English defender hasn’t featured a lot recently, so Klopp may consider rotating his defence.
Arsenal will need to be hot on any sign of rustiness that Gomez may show, the likes of Lacazette and Aubameyang will have to be on their toes against an inform Liverpool side.
