Alexandre Lacazette was making his first start for the Gunners since returning from injury on Thursday night.
Arsenal fans were obviously delighted to see him back in the starting line up, but his actions on the night left rival supporters furious.
The Frenchman appeared to dive to the floor after a clash with Vitoria’s Victor Garcia.
After a clip of the incident circulated around social media, these Tottenham fans were clearly unhappy with his play-acting.

It’s never nice to see this is on a football pitch, espically when it comes from your own players.
The replays show that there was minimal if any contact at all on the French striker, who really didn’t need to go down in the dramatic fashion that he did.
Perhaps it was due to the frustrating night that the Gunners were enduring, but even that is no excuse.
After taking all three points in the end, Arsenal and Lacazette will be hoping to move on quickly from this.
