Arsenal will not be pursuing a deal to sign Wilfried Zaha in January, according to reports.
Football London, as cited on the Express, state that the Gunners have finally ended their interest in the player after failing to secure a deal over the summer.
Zaha was heavily linked with an £80 million move to Arsenal during the previous transfer window, but as a result of Crystal Palace’s huge demands, he remained at Selhurst Park.
The Gunners instead signed his fellow Ivory Coast international, Nicolas Pepe instead.

This looks like a really smart move from the club. There was a time and place for the rumours linking Zaha to Arsenal and the Gunners have moved on from that now.
Pepe might be taking his time to settle in London, but the best of him is yet to come over the remainder of the season.
Add to that, the development of Gabriel Martinelli, who scored once again on Thursday night, has been a huge positive to come from Arsenal’s season.
He is one of a number of young players that are battling for positions in the team. They also have Emile Smith Rowe, Reiss Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles to call upon, the demand to bring Zaha in is simply no longer there.
On his day, he is, of course, a truly gifted footballer, but for the money it would take to convince Palace to sell – Arsenal would be better off using that elsewhere.
