Arsenal fans had a blast from the past last night as they watched the Europa League action unfold.
Prior to their win against Vitoria, several Gunners fans online noticed their former player Takuma Asano line up against Manchester United.
Asano joined Partizan Belgrade over the summer and caught the eye of these Arsenal supporters on social media after his performance against the club’s Premier League rivals.

Arsenal fans will never really know what the club intended to do with Asano after signing him back in 2016.
The Japanese international had three mediocre loan spells in Germany before being released earlier this year.
He’s now trying to forge a career in Serbia and is clearly doing well in the Europa League.
At the age of only 24, his best years are ahead of him and if he can make an impression in Europe this season, who knows, Arsenal fans may hear more about him over the coming months.
