Rob Holding has outlined Arsenal’s ambition to win the Europa League this season, as well as finish inside the top four.
Speaking to the media ahead of tonight’s meeting with Vitoria, as cited on social media, the defender was quizzed on the club’s aims for the remainder of the season.
Top 4 is more than within our capability. I want to win the Europa League first & foremost. We got to the final last year but I was injured & I didn’t get to play in it. Top 4 & a Europa League trophy would be a brilliant way to end it.
The Gunners will be out for revenge this season after losing in the final to London rivals Chelsea back in May.

As things stand, Arsenal are right up there with the strongest teams in the competition and they should be looking to go all the way.
That may change when it is confirmed who will be dropping into the Europa League from the third-place spots in the Champions League.
Red Bull Salzburg, Dortmund, Inter, Lyon and Zenit are all teams who could drop down and cause the Gunners plenty of problems in the latter rounds of the competition.
However, Unai Emery is a man who knows the Europa League better than most and the squad have the experience of getting to the final last season to learn from.
