At half-time at Vicarage Road on Sunday, all was well with Unai Emery and the Arsenal supporters.
A brace from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang put Emery’s side two goals to the good at the interval, which looked likely to be enough to take them back to third in the Premier League.
However, the Gunners then surrendered their advantage and were ultimately lucky to escape with a point against Watford, which left many fans fuming with the Spaniard.

Emery has now decided to delay naming his five Arsenal captains until after the Carabao Cup tie against Nottingham Forest next week, according to Goal correspond Charles Watts.
And these Arsenal fans were quick to reply to the news on social media, with many hitting out at Emery’s leadership qualities.

Emery’s willingness to name five captains all seems a bit strange to us, and by the looks of it, it hasn’t gone down well with many fans either.
Why the Spaniard can’t name a club captain and a vice-captain like every other club bemuses us, and to be honest, we’re not sure there are five leaders Emery can choose from to make the list.
Granit Xhaka and now Real Sociedad man Nacho Monreal are the only two men to have captained the Gunners this season, and many have called for Alexandre Lacazette to recieve the armband on a permanent basis.
