Arsenal will be aiming to get back to winning ways in the league when they face Wolves at Molineux on Wednesday.
The Gunners were humbled at home by Crystal Palace on Sunday, which didn’t really hamper their top four hopes as other teams around them also failed to win.
Hence, this is an opportunity for Unai Emery’s men to get back to winning form and carry that momentum into the final three league games of this season.
However, facing Wolves at Molineux hasn’t been easy for many teams throughout this campaign.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s men are a defensively-sound unit that can expose a team on the counter and score goals.
Thus, Arsenal have to be at their best to get all three points on Wednesday.
In terms of player availability, Emery is still sweating on Granit Xhaka’s fitness, while Aaron Ramsey is probably out for the season. The good news is Sokratis’s completion of suspension; he is certain to start.
Here’s how we think the gaffer may line his team up:
GK - Bernd Leno
He is the first-choice goalkeeper in the league and should be starting against Wolves tomorrow.
RWB - Ainsley Maitland-Niles
The youngster came off the bench on Sunday. With Arsenal struggling for cover in that position, he has to start.
CB - Sokratis
He is back from suspension and should slot straight back into the XI.
CB - Laurent Koscielny
The captain was a bit below par against Palace. He will need to improve on that if Arsenal are to keep a clean sheet tomorrow.
CB - Nacho Monreal
The Spaniard was an unused substitute on Sunday. He is almost certain to get back into the line-up against Wolves.
LWB - Sead Kolasinac
The wing-back needs to improve on his crossing and defensive part of the game. He is set to start despite a dip in form because the manager doesn’t have many options for that position.
CM - Lucas Torreira
The Uruguay international came on for the final 22 minutes against Palace. He should be starting to provide that bite in midfield.
CM - Matteo Guendouzi
With Xhaka still a doubt, young Guendouzi may keep his place in the team.
RW - Henrikh Mkhitaryan
The Armenia international should start on the right wing to provide more balance to the team on either side of the forward line.
ST - Alexandre Lacazette
The Frenchman played well on Sunday despite ending up on the losing side. His current form is good enough to be leading the line.
LW - Alex Iwobi
He came off the bench and made some sort of difference on Sunday. The Nigeria international should get a chance from the first whistle to trouble Wolves defenders in wide areas. He can provide defensive cover on the left-hand side as well.
