Arsenal will aim to strike back when they face BATE Borisov in the second leg of the Europa League last-32 tie at the Emirates on Thursday night.

The Gunners were given a reality check in Belarus last week, and now are in a situation where they have to overhaul a 1-0 deficit.

They will have to do that without the services of striker Alexandre Lacazette, who was sent off in the first leg.

Arsenal had a weekend off as they were not involved in the FA Cup. Hence, Unai Emery and his men had a chance to have a full week’s time to prepare for this game and mastermind a way forward in this competition.

In terms of the injury updates, the manager provided some positive news. Aaron Ramsey and Sokratis are back in training. Ainsley-Maitland Niles is ill and will be checked before kick-off.
