Banega’s agent in London amid Arsenal links

Ever Banega’s agent is reportedly in London amid increasing links to Arsenal.

According to a report from La Sexta, the player’s agent is in the capital, raising yet more speculation that a move to the Emirates could be on the cards.

Reports emerging out of Argentina earlier this week suggested that a deal to join the Gunners was all but done.

Banega had been expected to become Unai Emery’s first January signing, with a reunion believed to be on the cards.

The Argentinian midfield maestro has long been linked with a move to join the Gunners after impressing under Emery during his time with Sevilla.

While the Spanish side have played down interest from Arsenal in the past, news that the player’s agent is in town will do nothing to stop speculation about his long-term future at the club.

The report claims that the midfielder has a clause of €20 million that the Gunners will have to meet if they want to sign him in January.
