Arsenal are likely to miss out on Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot, after Matt Spiro of beIN Sports claimed the Frenchman agreed terms with Barcelona.
The 23-year-old had been widely reported as unsatisfied with his situation at PSG, and was angling for a move away from the Parc des Princes.
Several clubs from all over Europe were said to be keen on the French international, including the Gunners.
However, it seems as though the Catalan giants have got the better of Arsenal this time.

The North Londoners had been on the hunt for a new midfielder, but may have to allow the pursuit to take a backseat in favour of a chase for new defenders.
Rabiot is an effective two-way player, and Unai Emery will no doubt be disappointed he wasn’t able to add the Saint-Maurice native to his squad.
For the Spaniard, the search is set to continue into January.
