Wesley Moraes is good enough to play for Arsenal, that’s according to Club Brugge boss Ivan Leko.
Speaking to Belgian outlet DH, as cited on the Daily Star, Leko praised the striker following speculation that a Premier League move could be on the cards in the near future.
I’m sure that Wesley has the level to play for Arsenal. He can be proud of what he’s done in the past six months. He’s working hard and reaping the benefits, but to play in the Premier League, he needs to work even harder, and every day.
Moraes has attracted a wealth of interest in recent months and Arsenal are believed to be among the teams keen to sign the player.
Despite the form of both Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Arsenal look like they want to strengthen further in the final third.
Wesley’s 10 goals and four assists this season have not gone unnoticed as he emerges as a potential target for teams ahead of the January transfer window.
The striker is said to be valued at around £15 million and has previously attracted interest from Lazio and Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund.
