Arsenal could be about to miss out on a deal to sign promising youngster Wesley from Club Brugge, with the forward talking up a move to Lazio.
According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, as cited on Calciomercato, Wesley is quoted saying that Lazio could be a good move for him in the future.
Maybe there will be a new chance, Lazio is a great club on the world stage, but for now I think only of Bruges and the first goal in the Champions League.
The young Brazilian is a player that Arsenal have reportedly got their eye on, with scouts watching the player in action recently.
His performances for the Belgian side have clearly not gone unnoticed, with interest set to mount in his services.
Lazio are also in the running for his signature and would be able to guarantee the player first-team football, something that may not be on offer in London.
Previous reports have suggested that both Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund were also keeping tabs on his development.
