Arsenal linked with Club Brugge striker Wesley

Arsenal are reportedly interested in a deal to sign Wesley from Club Brugge.

The promising Brazilian forward appears to have caught the eye of the Gunners, who have identified the player as a potential transfer target.

Wesley established himself as an important player for Club Brugge throughout the course of last season as he helped the team secure the Jupiler Pro League title.

It’s claimed by HLN, as cited by GGFN, that the Gunners sent scouts out to Belgium to specifically keep a close eye on Wesley as his Club Brugge side took on Royal Excel Mouscron at the weekend.

However, Arsenal’s representatives are unlikely to have been left impressed with Wesley’s display in the match, with the forward having been sent off in the first half.

Nevertheless, it seems Arsenal’s interest remains prominent, but they could face competition for Wesley’s signature. It’s claimed that both PSG and Borussia Dortmund have also expressed an interest in recruiting the attacker.
