Roma have reportedly joined the race to sign Arsenal target Eric Bailly from Manchester United.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for the Ivory Coast international, who has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford under Jose Mourinho this season.
United have often fielded a defensive partnership of Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof, with Bailly forced to settle for a place on the sidelines.
This has prompted speculation that the centre-back could leave the Red Devils in the mid-season transfer window, with the Emirates Stadium touted as a potential destination.
A host of clubs are likely to be monitoring Bailly’s situation in Manchester and according to a report from Italian news outlet Calciomercato, Roma are among those interested.
The Serie A side are said to have lined up the former Villarreal star as a potential replacement for Ivan Marcano, who looks set to leave the club in the near future.
Bailly is hot property ahead of the January transfer window, with Tottenham Hotspur having also been previously linked with a move.
