Milan plotting move for Ramsey
Milan are preparing a swoop for Aaron Ramsey according to Football Italia.
Ramsey’s contract is set to expire at the end of the current season, and negotiations between the Gunners and the Welshman failed to produce a new deal.
Free to talk to other clubs in January, Milan might be among the litany of clubs entering the stakes for the 27-year-old.
Juventus could rival Milan if reports yesterday are to be believed, with Liverpool (and perhaps most concerning for Arsenal fans) Spurs wait in the wings.
Ramsey joined Arsenal in 2008 from Cardiff, and has made over 300 appearances for the North Londoners in his time at the Emirates.
New Milan chief executive Ivan Gazidis could hold a wildcard in negotiations due to his history with Arsenal, but it as yet unclear if Ramsey wants to head abroad for the next chapter in his career.
