Arsenal will no longer be pursuing a move for Brighton defender Lewis Dunk following Unai Emery’s arrival at the club.
According to the Mirror, Dunk had been earmarked by former manager Arsene Wenger.
The Frenchman wanted to swoop for the Brighton defender this summer as part of a defensive shake-up.
Wenger was a known admirer of Dunk, who impressed for Brighton in their first season in the Premier League.

However, a move is now unlikely with Emery set to pursue his own targets.
Borussia Dortmund’s Sokratis is expected to sign for the Gunners in the coming days, with a £16 million deal agreed between the two clubs.
There are concerns over the long-term futures of both Laurent Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi, who could see their places in the squad under threat under Emery.
Hector Bellerin has found questions raised about his future at the club, but the Spaniard looks set to stay following talks with the new boss.
