Arsenal are reportedly accelerating their efforts to land Sevilla star Ever Banega this summer.
The Gunners are said to be keen on a deal to sign the player ahead of next season as new manager Unai Emery looks to reunite with his former star at the Emirates.
Banega is currently away in Russia with the rest of the Argentina squad, as Jorge Sampaoli looks to lead his men to World Cup glory.
However, Banega’s future appears to remain up in the air, with his destination ahead of next season currently under an immense amount of scrutiny following reports of Arsenal’s interest.
It’s claimed by Gazzetta dello Sport reporter Nicolo Schira that Banega’s agent, Marcelo Simonian, is in London at this moment in time to stage negotiations with representatives from Arsenal.

Banega, 29, is still a key man for Sevilla but with the player approaching the twilight years of his career, a move to the Premier League could be of interest to the Argentine playmaker.
