Arsenal Star Mesut Ozil takes picture of Bro ahead of World Cup in Russia

Germany international and Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil, who has been very prolific for the Gunners this season, took to his social media account to share a picture with Premier League rival star and German defender, Anotnio Rudiger. The 29-year-old attacker was a major key in helping his team Arsenal secure a sixth spot in the English Top Flight with Chelsea sitting atop in the fifth position.

Ozil and Rudiger have now returned to Germany to prepare for the World Cup to be held in Russia this June.

The German playmaker is not new to the World Cup tournament as he played a major role in the Joachim Low’s squad that took the 2014 World Cup home. According to the majority of the World Cup predictions the German national team will play an important role in this World Cup.

The three-time FA Cup winner appeared in all seven matches for Germany in the 2014 World Cup held in Brazil scoring a decisive goal in the 119th minute in the round of 16 match against Algeria that ended 2-1, the match was regarded to be most entertaining match of all in the tournament.

While Chelsea defender, on the other hand will be making his first World Cup appearance for Germany in Russia, as he was picked in Low’s squad to compete in June.
