Arsenal eye move for Bundesliga full-back

Arsenal are competing with a number of German sides for 17-year-old Hamburg defender Josha Vagnoman, according to ESPN FC.

After making his senior debut at the age of 17 years and three months, Vagnoman is now considered one of the brightest talents in Europe.

The second youngest player in the history of the Bundesliga can play in both full-back positions and his deal is set to expire this summer.

Hamburg have offered the youngster a new deal, however, they are readying themselves for the number of offers they are about to receive for the Germany U-17 international.

Vagnoman’s rapid progress has gained him other admirers in the Premier League, such as Everton and Chelsea, who could also making a move for the defender.

The Gunners are confident they could land the Hamburg starlet due to their German connections of Steve Mislintat, head of recruitment, and Per Mertesacker, new reserve team manager.
