Santi Cazorla has announced that he is leaving Arsenal.
The Spaniard will leave the club when his contract ends this summer.
Cazorla has had major injury problems in the last few seasons and hasn’t made an appearance for Arsenal since October 2016.
Cazorla had this to say:
I am very sad to be leaving after so many great times. I have loved my time with the club. I will always remember the special moments we had together. The FA Cup in 2014 is something we will never forget. I am very proud to be part of this club’s history.
Doctors told Cazorla that he should be “satisfied” to walk again after his surgery in October 2017

It looks likely that the midfielder will be joining his former club Villarreal when he moves on this summer.
He finishes his Gunners career with 180 appearances and 29 goals, including the brilliant free-kick he scored in the FA Cup final against Hull City.
