Premier League side target out of contract Jack Wilshere

Newly promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers are planning an ambitious move for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.

The Mirror are reporting that Wilshere has been offered a £90,000 a week contract to stay at the Emirates, which is less than his current terms of £110,000 per week salary.

With the two parties in a stand-off, it is likely that the 26 year old will be forced to leave his boyhood club for nothing this summer.

Wilshere has already had a ‘huge’ contract offer from Everton, whilst it is understood that Liverpool and Manchester City are both watching his situation closely.

In addition, Italian giants Juventus and AC Milan are also keen, and it is believed that the Serie A outfits could make the best offers for his services.

The midfielder has seen his career blighted by injuries, and this season, he has managed 19 Premier League appearances plus 11 in the Europa League, which is one of his better returns in recent years.

The signing would be a real statement of intent for Wolves, whose owners are looking to make a splash, having clinched promotion with four games remaining.
