The Football Association have overturned the red card that was shown to Mohamed Elneny during Arsenal’s 3-2 win over Southampton at the weekend.
In a statement, the FA said:
Mohamed Elneny will be available for Arsenal’s next three games after an Independent Regulatory Commission accepted that he was wrongly dismissed for violent conduct against Southampton on Sunday 8 April 2018.

The Egyptian was want off for, shoving Cedric Soares but the FA have decided that a red card was too harsh of a punishment and as such, they’ve rescinded the card and the subsequent three match ban.
This means that the 25-year-old will be eligible to play in the upcoming league games against Newcastle, West Brom and Manchester United.
