Roma under pressure from FFP to sell €50m-rated star, Arsenal and Man City interested

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Roma forward Cengiz Under in recent weeks but the Gunners may have received a boost in their pursuit of the youngster.

Reports in Italy suggest that Roma could be forced to cash-in on their breakout star of the season in order to comply with UEFA Financial Fair Play Regulations.

Valued at €50m, Under has netted six goals in 24 appearances for Roma this season after arriving from Basaksehir last summer and has attracted interest from both Arsenal and Manchester City.

The Turk could follow a similar path taken by Mohamed Salah who rose to prominence in Serie A at Roma before completing a big money to the Premier League with Liverpool last summer.

Arsenal appear to be in the market for a new attacker in the summer, and Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele is someone the club are supposedly keen on, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang attempting to persuade club officials to sanction a move for the Chelsea and Manchester United target.
