Arsenal will have watched on over the last week or so as their Premier League rivals all compete in the Champions League last 16 with aspirations of joining them next season and they likely route to do so is by winning the Europa League this season.
In the last 32 of the competition, the Gunners have been drawn against Swedish minnows Ostersund and effectively killed off the tie on a snowy Thursday night last week when goals from Nacho Monreal and Mesut Ozil helped Arsenal to a 3-0 win.
Entering the second leg, Arsenal can’t take anything for granted tonight but it is an opportunity for Wenger to rotate his squad with the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City on Sunday.
