Arsenal’s new look scouting and recruitment team are already scouring Europe’s top leagues for new talent and the Mirror are linking the Gunners with a move for out-of-favour Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a fine season with Real Betis in 2016/17 before flying off to the U21 European Championships in Poland during the summer with Spain where he was named Player of the Tournament.
Ceballos completed a £15m move to Real Madrid shortly after but has found game time hard to come by, making just six La Liga appearances this season, only two of which from the start, scoring two goals.

Eager to play more games, Ceballos could force an early exit from the Bernabeu given Zinedine Zidane’s wealth of options in attacking midfield, and Arsenal are among those interested in signing him.
However, the report states that fellow Premier League side Liverpool are interested, as are Serie A pair Roma and Inter Milan.
