Arsenal’s midfielder Aaron Ramsey has been ruled out until the new-year the Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed.
The Welsh midfielder picked up a hamstring injury in the last few moments in the clubs 1-1 draw with Southampton last weekend.
Ramsey has played a key role for the Gunners so far this season and he is targetting to back for the visit of Premier League champions Chelsea on the 3rd January.

Speaking in his pre-match interview before the Carabao Cup 1/4 final with West Ham tomorrow night Wenger explained Ramsey’s situation.
Ramsey was out running [on Monday] but he will not be back in the next 10 days.
For him, the beginning of January is more likely.
Jack Wiltshire has been filling in for the Welshman in his absence as he looks to nail down a regular starting berth at the club.
Ramsey has made a very promising start to the season for the Gunners scoring three goals and picking up eight assists for his teammates in what has been one of his most successful seasons to date.
His eight assists see him top the rankings in the league alongside David Silva, Leroy Sane and Kevin De Bruyne at Manchester City.
