For the first time in the UEFA Europa League this season, Arsenal failed to pick up all three points as they played out a disappointing 0-0 draw with Serbian side Red Star Belgrade at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners’ line-up was a cocktail of experience and youth, with the likes of Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott in the starting eleven alongside young goalkeeper Matt Macey and promising centre-back Rob Holding.
Although Arsenal will be gutted not to have come away from the home tie with all three points in the bag, they can still be confident in that they are five points ahead at the top of Europa League group H with just two match days left to go.
Red Star are second in the group with five points, whilst BATE Borisov lost to the previously winless German side FC Koln and are third in the group with four points, whilst the Bundesliga outfit are bottom with three — but obviously still have a chance of progressing if they can pick up results in their remaining two games.
So how did we rate Arsene Wenger’s men against Red Star? Here are the player ratings…
