It’s no secret that Arsenal are interested in signing attacker Anthony Martial from Premier League rivals Manchester United, but it’s believed that they could be facing competition for his signature.
According to Spanish source Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are ready to make their move for the 2015 European Golden Boy award winner as they continue their search for a Neymar replacement.
Martial completed a move to Manchester United in the summer of 2015 for a fee that could rise to £58m and he’s scored 30 goals and provided 23 assists in his 100 appearances for the Red Devils to date.

It’s believed that Arsenal have already seen a bid rejected for the France international forward but they remain interested in bringing him to the Emirates.
Despite scoring five goals and laying on six assists through nine appearances this season, Martial has struggled for starts this term with Mourinho, making just one Premier League start so far.
Arsenal could part ways with Alexis Sanchez at the end of the season while Theo Walcott’s future also remains uncertain, but a move for Martial would soften the blow considerably of losing the Chilean.
