Arsenal’s move for Monaco’s Thomas Lemar fell through because they player did not feel he had long enough to mull over such a big move, according to Sky Sports.
The report says that Lemar ‘expressed concerns’ about the lack of time he had to think about the transfer and that their was logistical barricades due to the Frenchman being in action for his country tonight.

Monaco accepted a £92m bid from the Gunners as they made a last ditch effort to secure the services of the 21-year-old. However, even though the two teams had agreed a deal, Arsenal were unable to come to an agreement with Lemar himself.
Lemar signed for Monaco two years ago from SC Caen for around £3m. Since then, he has gone on to make 94 appearances for the club, scoring 19 goals and creating a further 24 for his team mates. Lemar could now play an even larger role for the French side after Kylian Mbappe left for PSG on loan earlier today.
