Arsenal head to the bet365 Stadium on Saturday evening to face Stoke City looking to make it back-to-back wins.
The Gunners kicked off the Premier League season last Friday night against Leicester City in a 4-3 thriller, which saw record signing Alexandre Lacazette begin the scoring in the opening minutes of the game.
On the other hand, Stoke were beaten 1-0 at Everton and will be hoping for better performance on Saturday night.
Arsenal comprehensively beat Stoke at the bet365 last season and will be hoping to maintain their 100% start to the season.
Here’s who we think will start for Arsenal on Saturday:
GK - Petr Cech
Arsenal’s number one ‘keeper – a certain starter on Saturday.
CB - Rob Holding
Despite Holding having a difficult game against Leicester, he is likely to start due to Shkodran Mustafi only just returning from an injury and Laurent Koscielny still having one game left on his ban after picking up a red card against Everton last season.
CB - Per Mertesacker
Mertesacker is available for selection again. Due to Arsenal’s defence looking poor against Leicester, the big German should return to the starting XI and give the team’s defence some stability and leadership.
CB - Nacho Monreal
Usually one of Arsenal’s most consistent performers, Monreal should start on Sunday.
RWB: Hector Bellerin
Wenger seems to prefer Bellerin over Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at right wing-back at the moment so I expect the Spaniard to start on Saturday.
LWB: Sead Kolašinac
Kolašinac continues to impress in the early stages of his Arsenal career. A close call between him and Oxlade-Chamberlain.
CM: Granit Xhaka
While Xhaka did make a couple of defensive mistakes against Leicester, he’s a certain starter for Saturday.
CM: Aaron Ramsey
Ramsey impressed when he came off the bench and scored against Leicester. The Welshman will certainly start in place of Mohamed Elneny.
RW: Mesut Ozil
Ozil will be hoping for a better performance against Stoke than what we saw against Leicester.
Wenger usually starts him when fit, so expect to see Ozil in the Arsenal front three.
ST: Alexandre Lacazette
Lacazette scored just minutes into his Arsenal debut and will be given another chance to increase his goal tally against Stoke.
LW: Danny Welbeck
With Sanchez not in contention to start on Saturday, Welbeck is likely to start again in his place.
