According to L’Equipe, Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette is expected to fly to London for a medical in the next 48-72 hours.
Lacazette is one of just five strikers who have scored at least 20 goals in each of the last three seasons in Europe’s top five leagues and would be a stellar addition to the Gunners’ squad.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed that Lacazette is closing in on a move to Arsenal and that the transfer fee will be between €45m and €50m, making the France international the club’s new record signing, eclipsing Mesut Ozil’s £42m move from Real Madrid.
The 26-year-old forward saw a move to Atletico Madrid fall through earlier this summer and is said to be keen on joining Arsenal.
With 37 goals in 45 appearances last season, Lacazette is a proven commodity in European football and could help fire Arsenal back into the top four.
