Celtic will be missing a key part of their squad next season when Patrick Roberts’ 18-month loan from Manchester City ends in the summer.
When the England U20 star goes back to City, he’ll leave a hole in the squad and the Mirror understand that Brendan Rodgers is interested in signing Arsenal teenager Chris Willock in the summer.
A versatile winger who can play on both sides, Willock made his Arsenal debut in the EFL Cup earlier this season and is regarded as one of their more promising youngsters.

Brendan Rodgers will make an attempt to bring Willock north of the border at the end of the season with the notion of playing first-team football hopefully a persuasive factor.
The success that the likes of Roberts, Moussa Dembele and Kieran Tierney have had under Rodgers is an illustration that Celtic can be a great place for young talents to develop their game which Willock may take into account.
