Arsenal are lining up a deal for Valencia left-back Jose Gaya, according to the Mirror.
The report says that Arsenal are looking to strengthen the left-back position, with first choice Nacho Monreal soon to turn 31. Gaya is ten years younger and regarded as a hot prospect. It is believed that Arsenal wish to complete the deal in the summer window rather than January.
Gaya made his senior debut for Valencia in 2012, aged 17, and has gone on to make 91 appearances for the Spanish side. He has scored three times for them and has nine assists to his name.

Gaya has represented Spain at youth level from U17 to U21. He is currently a member of the U21 side, having earned his first cap for them in 2014. He has since made six appearances, and scored once.
Arsenal’s next game is at home to West Brom on Boxing Day, where they will be looking to improve following a 2-1 defeat to Manchester City.
