Arsenal host Southampton this weekend, following the international break.
The Gunners went into the international break following a good 3-1 win over Watford, while also confirming the signings of Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez. Yes both players were signed in the last week but it’s better than nothing – which at one point looked almost likely.
Southampton on the other hand went into the international break after another draw, and sit near the bottom of the table. Although Southampton have not started the season well, recently however, the South coast club have a good record against Arsenal.
Arsenal will still be without Alex Iwobi, Gabriel and following his loan move to Bournemouth, Jack Wilshere.
Olivier Giroud could return to the lineup this weekend, while new signings, Mustafi and Perez could make their respective debuts.
